So here goes my first post to this blog... I don't really know how to start.. I've had your standard Tumblr blog account for a while, but it's slightly different posting pictures and random quotes here and there compared to a full on blog. But hey, lets try it out.
I'm currently sat in my dingey little uni halls room... the flats empty and has been for a week, so I can literally feel myself going stir crazy. Stir crazy? Stair crazy? I always get confused which one it is. I've just come to realise (mainly due to the wonders of facebook) that it's thunder outside... which puts me a bit on edge. I thought it was just people pulling around bins and things like that... fail. I already feel as if someones going to break into the flat and hold me hostage, without the added worry that thunders going to rumble its way into my room and kill me. But hopefully this will not happen.
I started my new job this week... Sales assistant at Ann Summers! Needless to say, the jokes and banter is brilliant. The stories you hear are priceless... I served a guy yesterday, must have been mid fifties, looking for a black thong. Took him over to the standard ones and asked him what size he was after. Deadpan expression, serious as death he goes "My size." I almost dropped everything in their hands, my expression dropped. After a second of shock I recovered and quickly gave him a size 20, muttering under my breath "Umm well this should be okay". Guess I should get used to things like that!
Buzzing for Monday... Loan comes through!! I've already mentally spent it to be fair... My philosophy is why give a fuck about money when you're this age... there'll be plenty of time when I'm older. I want to buy all onesies... playsuits jumpsuits and dresses... And I have an absoloute weakness for things without backs, or just intricate back details, like this one...
So I shall definitly be purchasing this. Lush burnt orange maxi dress in Miss Selfridge I fell in love with a few weeks back, so praaaaying it's still there!
Anyway, seems that my first post has drawn to an end. May not be the most riveting tale, but what can I say... not much really.
